Arrival Zurich - Departure London
Day 1, Zurich - Lucerne :
A warm welcome to Switzerland, the country of mountains and shining waters! You will arrive in Zurich also known as the "city of bridges". After Zurich, and a lunch stop, visit and admire the thundering natural beauty of the Rhine falls, Europe's most powerful waterfalls. After enjoying a hearty Indian meal, check in a hotel in Lucerne or surrounding area.
Day 2, Lucerne:
After a continental breakfast visit "Mount Titlis", the country's highest peak, standing at 10,000 ft. from a cable car and admire snow-cappedmountains, lakes and luscious meadows. After lunch an orientation tour of Lucerne will acquaint you with this medieval city. Here you will see the Chapel Bridge, the Lion Monument, Jesuite Church on the banks of River Reuss, and the Cathedral and have some free time for shopping. An Indian dinner will be followed by overnight accommodation in Lucerne or vicinity.
Day 3, Lucerne:
After a continental breakfast you have the option of visiting one more Swiss delight -Jungfraujoch. You may also visit the charming city of Interlaken, a resort famous for it's position between lakes and magnificentmountains. An Indian dinner followed by overnight accommodation in Lucerne or surrounding area.
Day 4, Lucerne - Salzburg :
After a continental breakfast, leave for Austria, shopping at the Swarovsky Museum, in Wattens, a brief lunch stop in Innsbruck to see the Maria Teresa square. After a long but scenic drive we arrive in Salzburg, the beautiful city of Mozart's birthplace. You will visit the Residenz Platz, the Mirabell Gardens the Cathedral of St. Rupert. Enjoy a delicious Indian meal at one of Salzburg's Indian restaurants. Overnight accommodation in Salzburg or vicinity.
Day 5, Salzburg - Vienna - Salzburg:
After a continental breakfast, leave for a day trip to Vienna, famou for it's musical post and cultural heritage. Your local English speaking guide will take you a sight seeing tour of this ancient royal city, where you will see the cathedral and the Opera House just to name a few sights. You will also visit the magnificent "Schonbrunn Palace"or the Hofburg abbey. On return to Salzburg you will enjoy an Indian dinner and overnight accommodation in Salzburg or surrounding area.
Day 6, Heidelberg:
After a continental breakfast, leave for Germany. We drive through Germany's Block Forest, stopping at the Drubba Cuckoo Clock Factory in Titisee where you can buy souvenirs. You will also visit the Mercedes Benz Museumin Stuttgart. After arrival in Heidelberg you will see Old Castle in Germany's oldest university town and the "Alstadt" where tiny alleyways and cobbled streets are the cities acclaimed features. After an Indain dinner, overnight in a hotel in Heidelberg or vicinity.
Day 7, Amsterdam :
After a continenetal breakfast, leave for Amsterdam, through the Rhine Valley, with a stop for a cruise on the Rhine from St.Goar to Boppard. From the boat you can see medieval castles, quaint towns and vineyards as the Rhine meanders through the valleys. Proceed to Holland where after an Indian dinner, overnight accommodation in Amsterdam or vicinity.
Day 8, Amsterdam :
After a continental breakfast take an orientation tour to get acquainted with Amsterdam and the major sights including the Coster Diamond Factory. Take a cruise along the waterways by canal boat, the best way to discover this city. In the afternoon you will have some time at leisure and for shopping. An Indian dinner will be followed by overnight accommodation in Amsterdam or surrounding area.
Day 9, Amsterdam: Paris :
After a continental breakfast, visit the Zaanse Schans Village, famous for its cheese and clog factories. This will be followed by avisit to Keukehof in Lisse to behold the beauty of the tulips (providing the flowers are still in bloom) or visit the village representating Holland in miniatur: Madurodam, which is located in Hague, the Dutch political centre. We travel onto France and visit Paris. After an Indian dinner overnight accommodation in Paris or surrounding area.
Day 10, Paris:
After a continental breakfast, you have option of heading out of the capital and experience a fun filled day at EuroDisneywhere you can enjoy the rides and meet all your favorite Disney characters! On your return to Paris we take you on a scenic cruise along the Seine, where you will have a fabulous view of the Grand Cathedral of Notre Dame which nestles on the banks of the river. After an Indian dinner, visit the world famous Lido Showto see the beautiful dancers and special effects. Indian dinner followed by overnight accommodation in Pari or vicinity.
Day 11, Paris - London:
After a continental breakfast, meet your local guide for a half day sight seeing tour at the city which will take you through the Champs Elyseeand the Arc de Triomph. You will also visit the Eiffel Towerand experience spectacular views of the city. Visit the Louvre Museum, (entrance included) and personally discover this landmark full on ancient treasures. Start for your final destination: London. The coach will drop you off at Gare du Nord station where you will take the Eurostar train to London. On arrival in London, coach transfer to Indian restaurant for dinner followed by overnight accommodation in London or vicinity.
Day 12, London :
After a continental breakfast leave for 1/2 day sight seeing tour of London with local guide. The tour will include the most famous sights suchas Westminster Abbey, the Houses of parliament, Buckingham Palace(where you might be lucky enough to see the Changing of the Guard Ceremory) Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street and Tower Bridges. Lunch break will be followed by either an afternoon at world's most famous waxwork museum- Madame Tussaudsand ride on the London Eye - the Millennium Wheel and free time for personal exploration and shopping! Farewell Indian dinner in the evening followed by overnight accommodation in London.
Day 13, Departure:
After continental breakfast, transfer to airport for departure. |
